Our Love Story

I first saw Jasmine in 2016 when she visited our congregation. I helped her find a seat and said to myself, “I’ll marry this lady one day.” I tried to get her attention, but to her—I was invisible.

In 2018, I asked for a photo with her and sneakily made sure she had to send it to me. She never did. I added her on Snapchat and stayed hopeful, though I mostly became a quiet admirer. She later told me she was in a relationship, so I stepped back—but I never gave up, always checking in once a year.

Years passed. Then in 2024, she posted a Memorial photo that caught my eye all over again. I messaged her—and this time, she felt truly seen.

We reconnected as friends, and slowly, something beautiful grew. I fell in love with her all over again—this time with her heart, faith, and selflessness. Jehovah stayed at the center of it all.

The proposal was a complete surprise—roses, joy, and her family there to witness the moment she said “yes.”

Now, we’re stepping into forever—guided by faith, a little boldness, and a lot of love.
