Nic and Yenny first met in Devonport on 4 April 2026. At that time, Yenny did not have any romantic feelings towards Nic, as she had never really thought about looking for a partner. Her intention was simply to make friends with local people and enjoy her time in Tasmania.

Their second meeting took place in Launceston on 19 April 2026. Since Nic and Yenny lived in different cities, their opportunities to meet were limited to weekends. Their third meeting was in East Devonport on 26 April 2026.

After spending time together and developing a meaningful connection, Nic and Yenny decided to pursue a serious relationship.

On 9 May 2026, Nic expressed his sincere intentions towards Yenny. He took her to a jewellery store, where he invited her to choose a ring and proposed to her.

After the proposal, Nic took Yenny to Launceston to meet his parents. She was warmly welcomed by both of them. That day felt like the best day Yenny had ever experienced in her entire life, as her heart was filled with the feeling of being genuinely and unconditionally loved.

Following their commitment, Nic and Yenny continued to build their relationship by getting to know each other more deeply. They attended church together, participated in Bible study gatherings, and shared meaningful experiences and enjoyable activities.

Their relationship continued to grow through mutual understanding, faith, love, and a shared commitment to building a future together.

On 5 June 2026, Nic and Yenny were blessed with the opportunity to bring their immediate families together in Jakarta, Indonesia.

From the journey of waiting and the prayers answered at the perfect time, to the beautiful way God brought two souls together when they least expected it, their love story is a testament to His unfailing love for those who remain faithful and trust in His perfect timing.
